Kim and Murphy
I would just like to thank you for the classes that Murphy and I have been taking, As you know we started in the beginning class, the first night Murphy was not happy to be there, We are now in the advanced class and all I have to do is show Murphy the leash and he is ready to go to class.
You have "taught" both of us the rules for good dog behavior and how to get good results. I would definitely take any new dog to training and would recommend you to any one who wants a better behaved dog.

Arthur and Ivan
Thank you so much for your positive, practical and loving approach to training. Even though I had some second hand experience,(former spouse CYA dog handler), I was in no way prepared for Ivan my new 90 plus pound German Shepherd.
He started changing right after the first class....and began using all that nervous energy to follow commands and learn new things. Now whenever he's outside by my truck he stands and look at the tailgate hoping its time for class. Hard to believe that the same puppy I had problems with has now completed:Basic obedience,Advanced obedience,Agility, and now is preparing for the AKC Good Citizen,as well as Advanced Novice B competitions.
The money I spent was well worth it. The fact that Ivan can brush up his skills for free makes it the best deal in town.

Lauren and Beau
Guaranteed Dog Training has been a wonderful experience for me and my Golden Retriever, Beau. Working with the training team has taught me so many useful techniques and tips to improve Beau's behavior and listening skills.
My dog has learned so much and loves going to class each week. Their use of praise and positive reinforcement during training is exceptional.
Janet and her team love what they do and it truly shows!

Jackie and Missy
I have been so pleased with the dog training classes given by Guaranteed Dog Training. I know that if I have a concern about a problem with my dog, Janet will be there for me.
It is obvious that her goal is that not one dog will fail her class. I can see some real improvements in my very active little Jack Russell.

Robin and Seamus
I just wanted to let you know how great your classes have been. We have been learning a lot, and will keep doing so! We put our training to the test recently when Seamus and I went to a gathering of people and dogs in Old Sacramento. There was a lot of excitement, we joined in on a political rally and a march on the Capital.
I was so proud of Seamus, he was one of the best behaved dogs there! It's nice to know that all our hard work pays off! Janet, Marion and Debbie, Thanks and keep up the good work

Luci and Sue
Luci and I had a very good class experience. Luci was not too socialable with other dogs prior to dog class, but she learned to make friends and not be afraid of the big dogs doing the social time before class. She is much more attentive to us giving her commands now even though we don't work with her enough at home. Prior to class, she barely listened to us; now she acknowledges that we want her to do something.
We now know how to make her listen and try to be consistent with her.
Overall, the class was very beneficial. Thanks!

Shael and Abigail
Abigail and I would like to thank you for all your help and positive encouragement! We have only been through the first 6 weeks but definitely plan to go to more classes in the near future. The first couple of classes Abigail seemed very timid but through it all she has shined and we believe it is because of all of your positive teaching and encouragement!! We recommend your classes to any dog and parent and truly believe that no dog is too old to learn new tricks! Thank you Janet very much!!
PS. We also wanted you to know that your prayers were appreciated!

I started my Frisbee Dog Entertainment Business, Skyy Dogs USA, in 1988. My first dog's name was Sky. After many performances, people ask me, “How did you train your dogs?” I tell them, the first thing the dogs need to learn is obedience. Obedience is the basics that open the lines of communication. Your dog will understand what is important to you in any field of training.
I always bring my dogs to Guaranteed Dog Training because I like the methods. There is plenty of positive reinforcement to keep my dog happy. No non-sense here, my dogs understand what is expected of them. I am on my third generation of dogs that I have obedience trained with GDT. I would recommend GDT to anyone.

Debbie and Reo
Thank you so much for all the help you have given me with Reo. When I bought my dog I was not expecting him to be so active. I thought he would be a nice calm house dog and boy was I wrong. With the help of Guaranteed Dog Training, Reo has turned into such a lovely dog. Not only did I learn how to correct bad habits but I also learned how to get Reo to obey my commands. The socialization that the classes offer is also great. Reo had never been around other dogs before class and now he loves all other animals. We enjoyed class so much I plan to repeat it when Reo is about 1 year.
I would refer anyone to Guaranteed Dog Training for training because my experience with them has been outstanding. Thanks again!

If you are considering dog training for your pooch and yourself…These ARE the people to see. I have trained two puppies with them. One Cocker Spaniel, and now an Australian Shepherd. Both were young and boisterous.
The methods, patience and skill offered by these folks works and it is fun. In addition to the success you will enjoy training your dog, he/she will also get to socialize with other dogs and learn how to do that in a proper and balanced way.
Lastly, the training is guaranteed and you can return with your same dog as many times as you feel you need with NO hassle or additional charges. They are just the best in town.

I am so thankful to the amazing trainers at Guaranteed Dog Training. I came to therm with a year old German Shepherd who was aggressive and fearful towards other dogs and some people. We had gone through two training classes at another dog training facility, but they were unable to help me socialize him and without that we were having obediance issues even after attending 12 weeks of their training classes
With Guaranteed, I saw results as quickly as the second week of class, it was like I had a different dog. With their direction, I was able to become the leader my dog needed and we connected on a whole different level. It has been so wonderful being able to take walks with him without any incidences and have house quests again.
I cannot recommend Guaranteed Dog Training highly enough. They are professional dog handlers. They have four trainer at available, so problem areas like I had with my dog were addressed and solutions given immediately. Janet worked with us individually, until I got IT! Not only are they experts with the dogs but their people training skills are awesome as well. We loved our Shepard before but now we are really enjoying him, plus we can be social again.

You know the saying "you get what you pay for" ? Well in this case that could not be more true. I debated for weeks if I should just go to petco or pet-smart for dog classes but ultimately thought "class in the park seems like a better/more enjoyable location for training."
Yes, guaranteed dog training comes with a steep price tag for a 4 week session BUT IT IS TOTALLY WORTH IT (And you are a "lifetime member"-meaning after the 4 week course you can come back for free)
I am in week 2 with my dog and we are already seeing great results (she is sitting, laying down etc)
Janet, the owner called prior to the first class to field questions and ease anxieties and then called again after class #2 to check in and see how things were going. I really appreciated that and can tell she truly wants us to succeed!
They email "homework" after the class which has pointers and a review of the class which is very helpful.
There are 3 or 4 other trainers/aides there that are hands on in the class too (i was worried that with 10-15 dogs it would be hard to get one on one help but there are more than enough trainers there to lend a hand)
I really don't know why we didn't sign up for this class years ago! We look forward to weekly class and my dog is really responding well!

This class is a great opportunity -- to train yourself to be a good owner. As with anything that's worthwhile, it requires work, but it's well worth it. They are crystal clear about what to bring, what to do, what co statutes good dog manners.
There were a few red faces when owners would go off on how Fido was strong willed, whatever, then hand the dog over to the assistants. Within minutes, Fido would trot through the circle, lie down, sit, perfectly fine.
I grew up around dogs and have always had dogs, so I myself was embarrassed at how much I didn't know.
There are degrees and there are degrees of training yourself. You decide.
I chose medium trained for myself and my son. He doesn't have to obey every stricture, because I was too exhausted to be that great of a dog owners, but he occasionally gets complimented on his good manners.
Getting dog training will vastly increases the quality of your life, and it's also a favor to your dog.

I'm a long time dog owner but a first time GSD owner. My pretty girl was a bit more than we expected. Janet and team were great with her. They gave me specific pointers just for issues we were having, outside the normal class obedience training. We went on from basic obedience to off leash training classes. While my pup is still too young to be trusted completely, she has made great progress. With all the handouts and homework Janet gives after each class, I can go back and make sure I'm still doing things correctly. Especially now with COVID shutting gatherings down again. My pup needs constant training to keep her mentally stimulated (and not eating the furniture). The handouts are wonderful references.

Janet trained White German Shepherd Yroka expertly and in a timely manner. Great results!

I've taken all my dogs to Janet and her team. My dogs always learn to be well behaved and a pleasure to be around! The biggest help has been breaking bad habits like running through the door without permission or jumping up. Taking my dogs to Janet's classes has made a world of difference in enjoying my pets!
